My social work colleagues threw me a shower!

Some of my co-workers threw me a baby shower this past weekend.  I feel so silly having baby showers on baby #4 but I guess since it's a girl, why not??  hehehe

35 weeks....I am SO big and uncomfortable these days!

They did such a nice job.....yummy cupcakes and a fun diaper cake

I received so many nice gifts for baby Ellie :-)  She is going to be styling for sure!

We played some games and if you know me at all, you know I am not a huge game person, but I have to say these were fun.  Here's me blind folded trying to guess different baby items, I have to say I did very well :-)

They were such good sports,  I was the judge and they got to eat real baby food!

But they really got a kick out of me trying to guess everything

I am feeling so grateful for friends and co-workers that have spoiled me with gifts and love.

My baby shower with friends

My dear friend Amy threw me a baby shower last night at her home.  It was awesome.....she did an amazing job with the decorations, everything girly.....pearls, lace, lots of pink candy, cupcakes, finger foods, and candles.  It was great to see friends and some that I haven't seen in a while.  I was overwhelmed with the amount of gifts.....our daughter Ellie will be well dressed for sure!!!!  I am feeling very blessed this morning.

I just LOVE this pic of Amy and I.......my big belly is taking over her entire little body :-)  HA!!!

Those pics in the background will be hanging in Ellie's room soon!!!

Amy had everyone write down activity ideas for mother and daughter....I sure enjoyed reading all of them, so fun!

Emery's 1st Primary Program

Emery participated in the primary program at church this morning.  They have a big program once a year where all the kids ages 4 to 12 share testimonies and have short talks and sing the wonderful music they have been practicing all year.  We were very nervous because Emery doesn't like crowds and doesn't like people staring at him and certainly doesn't enjoy being put on the spot.  We weren't even sure he would go up there but he surprised us.  He marched right up there with all the kids, taking his place in the front row.  He stood up for every song and actually sang the words :-)  He went up to the pulpit and said his few lines right into the microphone without hesitation. We listened as he said "Jesus is our example, he showed us the path". Jason and I were overcome with emotion as big tears rolled down our faces as we watched our big 4 year old up there, it was a tender sweet moment, one that will be engrained in our memories forever. We are so proud of him!

He got an ice cream treat when we got home :-)

Way to go Emery Quinn!!!!!

Happy Pumpkin Patch!

We headed to the pumpkin patch on Monday night for some fun with our friends.  The boys had a great time.

Our attempt at a family shot.....Jake was not into it...you think I would learn and do it at the beginning of the night instead of waiting until we are leaving :-(

This one of Jake was taken early in the night and he was a happy camper!

There was a cow train ride and we sent Jake by himself....he was pretty content at the beginning but it got bumpy and he started to cry, we felt like great parents :-)

Emery with his buddy Cade

Em with his best buds, Cade and Carson

This one cracks me up.....Owen could pull it off :-)

We ended up leaving with a couple pumpkins and they did a BIG "cheese"

Go BRONCOS!

We took Emery and Owen to their 1st Boise State football game on Saturday afternoon (well unless you count when Emery went at 4 months old :-) but that was a disaster!).  Jason scored some tickets from work and we got to go a little early for some tailgaiting and free food :-)  We had a great time....the boys did awesome.....we only stayed until half time, but that's a victory for us and we'll take it :-)  We went in the middle of nap time so what can we expect right???  It was a great memory for them.  They are both asking when we can go back to the football game.

What a perfect fall day....temperatures in the mid 60's with sunshine!

Captured some sweet moments with father and son

Things got really silly :-)

Checking out each other's tickets

Leaving the game.....I know I was the only person wearing purple but this big preggo lady didn't have an orange or blue shirt big enough to wear :-)

Crossing over the bridge back to the park

We made some good memories that day......thanks mom for babysitting Jake so we could spend some quality time with the big boys!
