Love and fun in the snow!!!

Love this one below, Jake wanted no part of it, he would rather stand on the chair which ultimately meant he was up on the dining room table!

I pulled these 3 up and down the driveway, lets just say I got my workout, I was sweating when we were done, they had a blast!  1-30-13

Then they decided to ride their bikes :-)

And make snow bricks!

Check out Jake's big shiner, poor kid!

Catch up

Sorry to our loyal blog followers for the delay......life is crazy busy these days.  Here's a few pics from the past week, enjoy!

She's smiling....it's the BEST!  First smile 1-9-13

Jake or otherwise known as "Jakealyn" lately, his hair is SO long and I keep trying to cut it and then chicken out, I just love his curls.

Old man Riley, he will be 11 in April

Ellie's baby blessing

We had Ellie's baby blessing at church on Sunday January 6, 2013.  It was a sweet experience......she cried through most of it since her binky fell out right when it started, but I could still hear most of it :-)  She looked like a beautiful angel sent from heaven in her sweet white dress.

Nasty bug :-(

What a rough few days it has been at the Huszar household.....it started Wednesday with Owen throwing up only once, which led to Jake getting really sick on Thursday, he threw up 14 times, yep 14, that's alot for a little one.....it was very sad to watch him struggle.  The hard part is that he can't tell you when he's about to get sick, so that means vomit on the couch, rugs, carpet, his bed, well anywhere he would be at the time.  Then Emery got it, throwing up in the middle of the night Thursday night which led to Jason getting it Friday, he was in bed all day in between being sick and multiple trips to the bathroom.  Well, then it was my turn, I was throwing up all night Friday night into Saturday morning.  I stayed in bed all day until 4pm Saturday and Jason held down the fort.  Ellie has been super fussy, pulling her legs in and we can tell she is having belly pain. It's a pretty helpless feeling when you can't do anything to make her feel better :-(

It's so tough to take care of kiddos and especially a newborn in the middle of the night when you are sick yourself.  We have been blessed by some special people in our lives.  My dear friend Amy showed up at our house Friday with a care package: saltine crackers, sprite, pedialyte, movies, popsicles, chocolate and foaming bubble bath (for mommy), and a pizza ready to cook from papa murphy's!  She drove all the way to our house from Boise, up our snowy roads and everything!  She will never truly know what that meant to me.

Then our friend Donna from church brought us homemade chicken nooodle soup and bread Saturday afternoon and offered to take the boys, but we had to say no for fear she would get sick!

We feel truly blessed to have wonderful friends that care so much!  We are not 100% yet, Emery and Jake now seem to have colds, with runny noses, sore throats and belly aches.  Ellie continues to be fussy :-( and has thrown up several times today.

Updates on the kiddos

Owen at 3 years old:  He is POTTY TRAINED, yipee!!!  He decided 3 days before Ellie arrived that he was ready......what timing I tell ya, but that's pretty typical of Mr. Owen :-)
He really likes to dance lately, and will shake his hips in a circular motion, too funny!  He has quite the personality.  He is a little rough with his younger brother Jake but we are working on that!
He loves preschool and is thriving and doing so well.

Emery at 4 1/2: We are noticing Emery's great sense of humor.....he really appreciates humor especially his daddy's :-)  He is enjoying coloring lately and play doh, he loves to draw pictures and is quite creative.  He stopped napping right before Ellie was born, like days before.....I am pretty bummed about that, but he made it a long time.

Jake at 20 months: He is saying more and more these days....just 2 nights ago said "want shoes".....his favorite word hands down is NO, imagine that??  He is still fiesty as ever and as stubborn as they come :-)  He loves his brothers and is still adjusting to not being the baby anymore.  He has had some very sweet moments with Ellie though, giving her kisses and hugs!

Ellie at 5 weeks:  We took her to the doctor yesterday 1/3/13, she has been pretty fussy around feedings, has crazy hiccups, spits up, and seems uncomfortable.  Her pedicatrician thinks she has reflux so suggested we start a medication as a trial.  jason and I were a little hesistant since she's so little, but we are willing to try if it will help her be more happy and pain free.  On a positive note, she weighed in at 9 lbs 5 ounces, which is awesome since she was 6 lbs 15 ounces 3 weeks ago!!!
