Who says that Idaho doesn't have any beaches?

Idaho does have a beach :-) There is a great park/sand and water area by Lucky Peak Reservoir. The boys LOVED it!! They enjoyed playing in the sand. Emery didn't want to go in the water at all....but can you blame him? (it's freezing). Emery loved playing with his shovel, rake and bucket. Owen just liked picking up the sand between his fingers. And mommy & daddy just enjoyed soaking up the sunshine and being with our boys!

Don't let this pic fool you, he is right at the water line

I LOVE this pic, Emery wanted to lay down too and be just like his daddy

First sand castle

These were obviously taken at our house, I just love the purple flowers right now

Happy 9 months Owen

Owen is 9 months old today! It's hard to believe 9 months have gone by. This child brings me so much joy and happiness. I love just kissing his cheeks and cuddling with him. He is such a happy boy, really really happy. He goes with the flow and is so content. He has started scooting around on his belly and often times I will put him down on the floor and find him in a different spot across the room. He is talking lots (well not saying any words) but has lately starting saying "gaga", if only I could get him to say "mama" :-)

Owen Anthony, we love you more than words can say. The last 9 months have been awesome and we can't imagine life without you. Your big brother Emery loves you to pieces!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post...had a crazy work week last week. These were taken today of the boys playing together. Emery is really starting to interact with Owen, it is way cute!! (they almost look like they are the same size :-)

Notice their head sizes :-)

What a beautiful day and What a difference a year makes

It is such a beautiful day today...80-85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Took some great pics of Owen and then found some of Emery from 1 year ago, notice the lavendar wild flowers in the background, they are so pretty.

Gotta love that tongue :-)

Beautiful day on the boat...Owen's 1st time

It was a gorgeous day on the boat Saturday afternoon. It was Owen's first time out of the womb :-) He seemed to enjoy it, but then again this kid is always happy! Emery loved it too. I actually wakebaorded for the first time in 2 years and it was great. We didn't get any pics of us wakeboarding unfortunately.

My mom came too

This was Emery saying "boat daddy" pointing to our boat slip

2 year pics...well not really!

We tried to get Emery's 2 year pics done twice! What a disaster that was!!! Emery did not care for being in their photo room and did not like the lady's camera at all! Can you say terrible two's???? It was horrible. We thought we would do family pics and he would cooperate but that didn't work either (As you can see from our picture). Owen was happy but is teething sooo bad that he couldn't keep his cute little tongue in his mouth, it was pretty comical looking back but a HUGE exercise in frustration at the time. Well I guess when you have a 2 year old what can you expect right? So Jason and I tried to get a couple of us too since we just celebrated our 10 year anniversary.

THIS WAS THE BEST PIC BY FAR, Owen & daddy

These are from the online viewing so the resolution is not that great. What an experience!

Happy 10th Anniversary!!!

Where do I begin? 10 years ago today on June 10, 2000 I married my best friend. I have had so many thoughts run through my mind today so sorry if I ramble in this post. I just want to share that I feel really blessed that Jason is my husband, my best friend and my eternal partner. Our marriage has grown stronger as each year has gone by. I am more in love with him today than the day we said "I do", how is that possible?. Some people spend their entire life searching for their soulmate and never find them, how did I get so lucky? I love watching Jason as a father, it truly makes me happy. Thank you J for loving me unconditionally and for making me laugh every single day!!! Thank you for giving me 2 beautiful sons!!! I can't wait to see what the next 10 years has in store for us.

Nana time

My mom came over for dinner last night while Jason was out wakeboarding with his buddies. The boys enjoyed some time with their nana :-)

Carlin was right in their faces as usual

They started to fall back

Love the looks on their faces, like they are saying "Why mom?"

Owen loved feeling the grass between his fingers
