Happy Thanksgiving 2010!

We had a great Thanksgiving at our house.  It was a white one for sure!  Emery loved being outside as usual.  We had a great dinner with family and our friends (pics to come of the Keller fam :-)

Giving kisses to nana

It is nearly impossible to get a picture with all of us, but this was the best one!

We have so much to be grateful for, a beautiful family, our health, great friends and a loving father in heaven just to name a few things.  Hope everyone had a blessed day!

More snow pics

More snow pics from this am.  The sun is shining today but it is freezing cold, but Emery doesn't seem to care one bit!  He decided to go for a walk up the driveway and wouldn't come back so I got to take a nice talk too :-) after him.
This is Emery pushing snow balls over the edge of the driveway, scaring his mommy because he kept leaning way over like he was going to go over the side of the mountain on his belly!

We have lots of snow!

We have so much snow at our house right now.  It's freezing cold too, the high tomorrow is 9! I guess winter came a little early and we will have a white Thanksgiving!
Emery LOVES the snow and being outside in general and you just can't keep him in!

My neighbor came over and helped Emery make snow castles (he was counting them :-)

19 weeks

I am 19 weeks preggo this week.  Emery has really noticed my belly lately.  Last night when Jason was reading a book to him before bed, he said to me "goodnight, I love you big mommy".  And the other night he saw me getting out of the bathtub and said "your big mommy".  Well, I laughed but wanted to cry too :-)  A girl at work said to me a couple days ago "wow, you don't have much longer to go, like a month?",  I replied "No like 4 1/2 months".  Well, I definately feel and look bigger the 3rd time around but I am trying to take it all in, even the bad comments and the major self esteem booster comments, since this is our last pregnancy (at least we are 90% sure :-)  Jason will say 100% sure!!!

This was taken today, we are getting some snow and it's really cold!

Big day

This was too funny.....but I have to give some background.  I worked last night and was really tired today and wanted to make sure the boys took good naps this afternoon (so I could catch some z's), so I selfishly decided that Owen would skip his morning nap (which he will often do anyway :-)
These pictures were taken at 11:30am right after the boys ate lunch.  I went into the kitchen to put away dishes and could hear Owen fussing a little....well I came around the corner and this is how I found him!!!  Classic!

And then I felt REALLY guilty!

Also want to document that Owen crawled today for the very first time, at least in the traditional sense, yes on all 4's!!!  It was pretty cute to watch!  I guess his doc was wrong when she said he wouldn't crawl since he has figured out how to get around on his bum!

Painting with mommy

I have been wanting to do crafts with Emery for quite some time but as most of you know I am not crafty :-)  It's getting too cold outside to take the kids out all of the time so I am trying to get creative on activities.  Emery and I painted some Christmas ornaments this morning.  To say he loved it would be a major understatement.  He really enjoyed it very much.  He kept saying "Merry Christmas mommy", it was so cute!

He's standing solo!

Owen is standing all by himself!  He has made great progress in the last few days, but today he stood for the longest amount of time.

After a while, he gets upset.....we think he gets scared about what to do next!

He is walking with the shopping cart all over the house

Emery is happy about Owen's progress too :-)

He's getting brave!

This is how you can find Owen most days.  He is always standing up holding onto the stairs down into the living room.
He has decided to test out letting go with both hands :-)

Just in the last couple of days, he has made great progress towards walking.  His balance has improved so much and he is getting much more brave!
