Weekend fun

We began the weekend last night be taking a bike ride on the greenbelt to Ann Morrison Park with some friends.  Owen LOVES the swings as you can tell :-)

We had almost 3 cords of firewood delivered today.  Emery has been an awesome helper to daddy!

Beautiful day

The boys and I went outside this afternoon with the dogs.  It is a beautiful fall day in the 60's with lots of sunshine.

This is how Owen gets around!

So this is how Owen gets around.....it's hilarious really!  He can army crawl and is totally capable of crawling on all 4's but he prefers to hop on his bum :-), it's much faster!

15 weeks

I was looking at a friend's blog from high school and realized that I wasn't documenting this pregnancy very well.  So here I am at 15 weeks!  I can't believe how much bigger I am the 3rd time around :-) 

Potty time

I included some pics last post of Emery on his new potty chair (sorry Emery)....anyway, I just had to post that we are on Day 2 of Emery sitting on the potty and he just told me he had to go potty.  He then went into the bathroom, took how own pants off and asked me to help him with taking his diaper off and sat on the potty and went right away!  WOW, I wasn't expecting him to catch onto this so quickly.  We got the potty thinking we will get him used to the idea and he can sit on it but now he is asking to go!  It's really presenting a challenge though having Owen right there since Owen is trying to be right in the action!!! 

This week so far

It's been a great week so far with the boys.  We have playing outside on the swingset which they really seem to enjoy.  Don't mind Emery's pajama pants :-)

Emery kept taking that wheel and rolling it down his slide so that it would end up in the meadow.

This was very exciting for Emery....sitting on the potty for the first time....this was taken right before his bath

Right after this he was taking a bath and he said to us "Need to go potty again", so we took him out of the bath and he sat on the potty and actually went!  It was a big moment, so don't laugh at me, but I cried!  Yes, I think I am emotional and pregnant but my little boy is growing up.  He was so proud of himself and we were equally proud!  He is also learning real quick that if he goes on the potty he gets M&M's, or as he would say "choclite" :-)

Just a quick update on Mr Owen...he is pulling himself up onto EVERYTHING.  He is furniture walking now which is really cute.  He LOVES to stand up any chance he gets.  We are still working on his balance but who knows maybe he will walk before his big brother did at 15 months. 

This was awesome....he skipped his morning nap this morning and 2 hours later I gave him some milk and went upstairs and when I came back this is how I found him!  Sound asleep on the floor :-)

 Owen is really changing these days....he knows what he wants and will let you know he wants something!  His little personality is really coming out....he knows when we are joking with him and plays along.  He giggles A LOT and loves Emery so much.  They are really starting to play together which is the cutest thing ever!

The boys have been getting up sooo early lately, like 5:30/6:00 which is not so good for me :-)  So, they have been coming into our bed with me in the morning.  Emery enjoys watching his cartoons or as he would say it "my shows mommy".  This morning, things started out ok and then Emery decided it would be fun to lay on top of Owen.....oh the rough housing has begun!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Linder Farms on Saturday with some friends, the boys had fun getting pumpkins.
