This is Emery's 1 st Thanksgiving!!! We had a wonderful day, spending the holiday with my mom and our 2 neighbors (Keri & Rich). We have soo much to be grateful for this year.

We had a fun weekend with our friend Brent and his girlfriend Teresa who are visiting us from San Diego. We went up to Idaho City and took in some of the great gold mining history.

I love my son soooo much

I just wanted to write a few things that have been on my mind lately (this blog is like my journal).

I am in sooo in love with my son!!! Emery brings me so much joy and happiness. I have been thinking about what an awesome responsiblity I have been given on this earth to be his mother. I want to be a better person everyday because of him. I always want to be a good example to him throughout his life.

There was a time when I didn't know if Jason and I could have children. It is such an incredible blessing to be parents of this beautiful child of God. I feel like I don't know what I am doing half of the time but I am figuring out things as I go. Hopefully Emery won't know the difference!!! I just want to thank Jason for being such an awesome dad and husband, he is my best friend and partner for eternity!!!

It's so funny

Emery got a new bathtub today so this evening we tried it out.... You can tell by this video that he really enjoyed it! This is the first time that he has really laughed and not just giggled a little. He will be 6 months old on 11/29, it seems like yesterday that he was a newborn!

Too cute!!!! His laugh is contagious!

It's teething time

So I think Emery is teething. He has all the signs mostly with lots of drooling, a runny nose, putting everything in his mouth, a dry cough, less hungry, etc..... He is a happy little guy most of the time but lately I have noticed he has been more fussy than normal. I captured some pics of him this afternoon.

He's a big boy!!!!

Emery is such a big boy!! We went to our friend's house (Amy & Shane's) on Sunday after church and Emery wanted to try standing like his friends, Cade & Carson. He is getting so strong, he was standing for quite a while.

We can't believe it is November already!!! Emery is getting sooo big! We received a nice gift today from Christy's cousin Susan in Colorado (check out Emery's shoes).
