It's hard to believe it was a year ago today that Jake was born......he had quite the entrance to the world. We were scheduled for a c-section at 7:00am on April 11 and instead Jake decided to come early at 2:40am. Jake weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. Labor was intense and so fast....I will never forget that drive to the hospital at midnight with contractions 2 minutes apart and me screaming from the pain and from all the deer that kept jumping out in the road in front of us :-)
I was so in love from the minute I saw him!
And his daddy was too!

You are SO loved by your grandmas!!
It's hard to believe you were so tiny.......you forget how fast babies grow!
We love you SO much Jake Alton......you have brought your family so much happiness this past year.....we can't wait to see what the next year brings.
