Baby Emery is Here!!!
Last night was not too bad. We sent him to the nursery from 1:00 to 4:00. He nursed well this morning. Christy is in pain from the c-section, but is a real trooper. I am at a bagel shop up the street due to the fact I can't get Internet in the hospital, which I had planned on. Hence the reason for the delay in getting some pictures posted. I don't have a lot of time to get back so I am going to just post a few and more will come later. We should be home by Saturday night, Sunday morning.
The must say that a child is the ultimate manifestation of the power and omnipotence of our Almighty Creator. I speak for myself, and Christy, when I say that we are humbled in a way we have never been to be entrusted by our Heavenly Father to care for this beautiful soul. We love him and thank God for him. I guess I now finally get to learn about "real priorities" in my life.
Thanks to all for the support and love. We love you back. Jason & Christy

May 2008
May 26: Went to the park downtown with the Steele's (below), Kellers (2 down) , Rutters, and the Arhets. Played some Frisbee and football for a few hours. Then Paul and I went to play Frisbee golf and about got killed by lightning. Fun though. It was a great time and a beautiful morning. I am still sore from diving around for the Frisbee.
May 24: Had our friends the Welch's up for BBQ. They are moving to Nebraska so Nathan can finish his residency and become a Dr. We will miss them. I am holding their daughter Olivia who is only about 6 weeks old.
May 17: It is a beautiful day at 92 degrees! We went to Arrow Rock Reservoir with the doggies. Here is the latest picture of my belly. Only 11 more days until my due date.

The 3 doggies: they are so happy when they are in the water
Happy Mother's Day! We got Emery's letters on the wall. The nursery is complete. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

This was taken on Saturday, spring is here with the arrival of the wildflowers. We have beautiful daisies and purple flowers everywhere.
I am 37 weeks and considered full term! Emery could come at any time now and he would be okay. This picture was taken this evening when we got home from work. It is hard to believe that we will soon be meeting our son. We have had nine months of planning and preparing for his arrival. I will miss feeling his squirms and kicks but can't wait to meet him! The nursery is complete and we will post some more pictures soon....

2007 Annual Review
We went snow boarding several times up at Bogus Basin just outside of Boise. They have night skiing which is fun. We went with our friends Amy and Wade.
Amy and Shane
What a stud...
Brent came to visit and ate us out of house and home..
This town has no electricity or phones. We were talking to a couple of the residents because we noticed that there were phone poles in the town. They said they had phone up until WWII when the government pulled out all the copper lines to the town for the war. They still have the crank phones in the town so they can call each other from house to house. Pretty cool.
All of these buildings are from the mid-late 1800's. Here is a church from around 1860.

Our great friends the Goodwins came to see us in May and we had a great time. Here is Kelly, Paige, and Jason.

Summer Time

Amy and Christy

Stud and Paul.

Jordan, Mindy, Chris, and Adam.

Carlin (looking for food), Amy, Jaron, and Jennifer.

Back on the water. Jason catching weak air...

Loving it. Nothing like the morning on a summer day when all you have to do is sit on the lake.

Boys dualing for the ball.

Craig and Camile on the tube getting thrashed.
Christy's first time wakeboarding. She got up on the 2nd try.
A little better.
Amy catching air...
Chilly at first, but too beautiful to pass up. The visibility was amazing.
The summit. Just under 8500 feet. It was about a 10 mile hike.
Christy kicking back at camp.
Thanksgiving day with the Kellers and Lynn and John.
We get so many great sunsets and sunrises. Here is a nice one.
