Happy 2nd Birthday Jake!!!!!!!!!!!

Jake turned 2 on April 11!!!  Wow, that's really hard to believe that he is 2 already.......he is such a sweetheart.  I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday.  He is the only child that put me into labor :-)  what does that tell you about his personality?????  I was scheduled on April 11 for my c-section at 7am and he decided to come a little earlier at 2:30 am.  Contractions every 2 minutes for several hours, it was the WORST pain I have ever experienced.  The drive to the hospital at midnight was crazy....deer all over the highway and me screaming from pain and jason driving so fast, reminding me to breathe, we should have taped it :-)

His 1st birthday!

His 2nd birthday party!  I ordered a yummy ice cream cake from Ben & Jerrys!

 

This one was taken on his actual bday yesterday playing with his new Buzz Light Years....he went around all day saying"Buzz Light Year".

 

He opened his dream light pillow when we got home from mommy and daddy, he loves it.....and I love Owen's excitement too :-)

 

Jake is our firecracker!  He has SO much personality, is quite the character, has looks like noone else, can give the best scowl you have ever seen and has a smile that lights up the room!  He is becoming quite the talker.  Some of his favorite phrases are :  "stop it", "I get it", I want down", I wuv you".......he is such a joy, we are so blessed to have him. 

 

Easter 2013

We had such a nice Easter....went to church and had a great dinner at my mom and Steve's house with a fun easter egg hunt.   It was such a beautiful day, sunny and warm :-)

We walked in my mom's neighborhhod to a fun a little park area that has a tunnel.  The boys were pretending to catch fish, it was cute!

March wrap up!!!!

Wow, I've really been struggling in the blog department!!  Here's what we have been up to lately:

I had a birthday, boo!!  I say boo because after you turn 30, well it's hard to want to celebrate getting older :-) We had a ncie dinner at my mom and Steve's house.

 

The boys loved helping me blow out the candles :-)

 

 

 

Jason and I went to lunch on my actual birthday

 

 

And he took me shopping....doesn't he look thrilled that I got some new shoes????

 

We went to a friend's house in the valley below us and they have some cook animals, alpacas and chickens, the boys loved it!

 

 

Ellie turned 4 months on March 27th!!!!!  She's getting SO big and is such a sweetheart!!
