This is Emery's new favorite thing to do....climb into Owen's crib! We are really surprised that he hasn't figured out how to climb out of his own crib yet but I am sure it is coming.

It is hilarious to watch him dive head first!

BBQ at our house

We had a BBQ at our house Friday night. It was great to have friends over and hang out. The kids LOVED catching the millions of grasshoppers we have in our yard. Emery enjoys older kids sooo much.

Emery's latest

We went boating yesterday with our friends, Adam & Shaanti and their 2 boys. I didn't take many pics unfortunately but got a couple ones of Emery. I have been wanting to document some of the phrases he has been saying lately.

Some of Emery's favorite phrases:

• I can't do it mommy
• Be right back
• Gonna check on the doggies mommy
• Can't reach it
• Emery's turn mommy (we are trying to teach the concept of sharing so he wants it to be his turn all of the time :-)
• What you doing?
• He is getting the concept of girl vs boy so he will say "Emery a boy, Owen a boy, daddy a boy, mommy a girl and nana a girl
• He loves to watch me dance, so he often says "dance mommy, dance", especially when we are in the car
• Every man he sees, he addresses them by saying "man", it's so funny, men don't have names, just MAN (so like yesterday on the boat, he would say "man in water"
• The questions are starting, so he always says "what's that mommy?
• He is singing a few songs "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, The Elmo song, Itsy Bitsy Spider, The Wheels on the Bus and the ABC's (his favorite part is LMNOP)"

It has been really amazing to watch his vocabulary progress.....we can ask him questions and actually have a conversation with him that somewhat makes sense. I am just waiting for the Why's to begin :-)

Trip to Costco

Just had to post these pics from today of the boys during our trip to Costco. They do so well for the first 1/2 hour or so and then it begins to fall apart. Emery wants out and will repeatedly tell you he wants out until I finally cave. But before he gets out, he takes everything away from Owen and says "mine" and begins tapping him on the head (ok, maybe you could say hitting :-) Luckily, Jason met me there at lunch so I had backup :-)

This is too cute....Jason thought Owen would look super cute in his shades and I have to agree....what a cutie pie!

Camping trip in Stanley

We went camping this past weekend near Stanley Idaho. What a gorgeous place! We had a great time with the Bucher family. Emery loves being outdoors. The weather was beautiful, sunny and in the high 70's/low 80's during the day.
