5 months old

Emery is 5 months old today. We can't believe how much he has grown and changed. I had to go back and count the weeks and sure enough today makes the 20th week! Everyone keeps telling me to cherish every moment because before you know it your kids are all grown up. I can already see it! Emery is such an awesome blessing in our lives.

Here are some videos of our little guy. We have been recording Mr Rogers on DVR and Emery seems to enjoy it. He is really starting to discover his voice. I think he may have his first cold and unfortunately I gave it to him :(

Work in progress

We are working on Emery sitting up on his own. As you can see from the pictures I started by getting some help from the boppy pillow, once I took it away, well you can see what happend.... It is a work in progress!

Snow in October?????

We had a crazy cold front move through yesterday that brought snow!!!! It is nuts that it snowed in early October, Emery watched it falling from the toasty living room and seemed to think it was really cool!

Here are some pics from the week. Emery is growing too fast (he is wearing 6 month clothes). I can't believe he will be 5 months old soon, where have these months gone??? He is so much fun, I just love being his mommy!

He's a big boy!

We had Emery's 4 month check up today (a little late since he will be 5 months old next week). Poor baby had to get shots and his mommy was falling apart too!!

He weighed in at a healthy 15 lbs, 7 ounces (he is in the 60% percentile) and is ready for this....

He is 26 inches long (that is the 80%percentile). We just laugh because we don't where he is getting this height from. He is changing so much week to week. You can see from the pics that he is grabbing his feet, rolling over to his belly (although he hasn't figured out to get back) and he giggles!! Enjoy the video too!!!

Lazy fall day

It is beautiful fall day at the Huszar's house. We are enjoying the cool weather with the rain that comes and goes.

I have to admit that I was being lazy with trying rice cereal with Emery. He would spit ALL of it out of his mouth until today!!! We made it thicker and warmer and he seems to like it more. Here are some videos (warning: they are not that thrilling)!!!

Emery goes to his first BSU game

We took Emery to his first BSU game last night. He had a stomach ache before the game so I thought he might not do very well. He had his moments of being okay, but then the loud noise of the crowd scared him. We sat in the student section so you can imagine right????
